To succeed in this role, you will need to have an appropriate mining or civil engineering qualification and at least 2 years of mine planning and scheduling experience, preferably in a surface capacity. Strong interpretative, analytical and communication skills are the essential qualities needed to excel in this role.
Reporting to the Manager Mining Operations, the Key Duties of this role include;
? Monthly mine planning, scheduling and variation analysis.
? Monitoring analysing and reporting mining costs and operational performance through the use of data-based analysis methods.
? Short to medium term scheduling and surface design
? Administering service contracts including monthly accrual and progress payment verification.
? Undertaking project work as required by the Projects Development Manager.
? Budgeting and forecast preparation
