Our Perth based client is looking for a Lead Cost Engineer to join their rapidly expanding EPCM division. This organisation is a large dynamic minerals and materials handling contractor that operates in the resource sector. As senior cost Engineer you will be required to:? Set up and maintain project specific control systems.
? Ensure timely and accurate cost forecasting and reporting.
? Ensure timely and accurate progress measurement and reporting.
? Ensure project cost and forecasts executed in accordance with the head
contract.
? As Senior Cost Controls Engineer you will be involved in all aspects of
Project Controls, Scheduling, Cost Control and Progress Measurement.
? Establishing project specific work breakdown structures and cost codes
for direct and indirect cost elements.
? Preparation of project cash flows.
? Assistance with the preparation of project monthly/periodic reports.
? Assistance with the preparation of conceptual and control estimates.
? Transfer of cost estimate to the cost system and set up of project
control budgets.
? Maintenance of trend analysis and scope change control.
? Liaise with the Engineering, Accounts and Procurement departments to
ensure effective execution of projects.
