Position Profile

As a key position for the organization, the Sales Manager will direct sales and marketing for evidence-based clinical decision support solutions, with a focus on: lead generation, sales process management and sales closing for international offerings

Work collaboratively with internal and external contacts including additional corporate subsidiaries both domestically and internationally

This individual will be responsible for developing a written sales plan for the country; he or she will explore and develop business opportunities and relationships, design sales presentations, and will be accountable for demonstrating and articulating the efficiency of the organization's software products and services to the healthcare community

Candidates with strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, sales savvy in the Australian healthcare market, excellent time management, project management, and technical expertise will be successful in this role; experience in healthcare quality initiatives and healthcare information technology systems sales is essential, bachelor's degree required

The corporation recently acquired a UK based, leading product and evidence-based benchmark for clinical processes that supports the configuration of services, local commissioning and clinical practice across care settings; it has been selected by the state of Queensland as the source of best practice clinical pathways and is currently in deployment

Strategy for this international healthcare effort is to market and sell both the organization's US offerings and access to this web-based resource including representation of more than 380+ evidence-based clinical pathways

The client base is a diverse one that represents various hospital profiles and clinicians practicing at facilities ranging from academic medical centers, to suburban community hospitals, to small rural hospitals; the company maintains relationships with leading healthcare organizations including Cedars-Sinai Health System, the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, Kaiser Permanente, Loyola University Chicago, University of Vermont, Cerner Corporation, and McKesson Corporation
