Our Client is seeking the services of a professional and very experienced project / construction Buyer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the team during one of the most exciting phases of the project. This position offers many opportunities including negotiating large scale purchases of major capital items and fixed plant. As well as dealing with local, national and overseas suppliers on critical materials for major infrastructure projects.The project scope includes engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of the mine, process plant and infrastructure.
To be considered for this position, the successful candidate will have:
Min 5 - 15 years experience in Buying / Procurement on Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) environments.
Demonstrated Project experience within the resources or processing industries is essential.
