Their success in exploration and with appraisal activities has provided a solid foundation for their future growth, with ample reserves of coal seam gas ready to meet Australia's growing demand for clean, efficient energy. We are privileged to be inviting applications for the senior position of Downstream Gas Project Manager, reporting to the General Manager ? Major Projects, based in Brisbane, to oversee the investment and development of the Company's new installations.
As the Downstream Gas Project Manager you will be the Company representative, and will manage the totality and success of the projects, including all communications, timing implications, permitting and the EPC contracting strategy. Your duties and responsibilities will include:
? Overseeing large scale investments totaling around one billion dollars
? Liaison between the Company and joint venture partners on the plant developments
? Reviewing and reporting on work streams on the projects
? Executive level involvement in projects to ensure the Company's interests are being met
? Providing input into the project's commercial contracts
? Provide regulatory assistance and solutions to implications for the Company
You will have a minimum of 10 years' experience in project management of LNG plant projects and in commercial negotiations. You will be capable of managing large scale projects, with strong knowledge of downstream and upstream implications of an LNG plant. This position requires a self starter with proven project management abilities, strong communication and report writing skills, and demonstrated ability in developing commercial contracts.
